Street Encounters celebrates the art of street photography in the spirit of Vivian Maier, who captured the world around her like an unknown witness. We seek imagery that conveys every day life and happenings. Sometimes the most simple situations and moments can result in the most extraordinary, lasting images.
Street Encounters is a juried exhibition featuring the works of 50 photographers. The pieces were chosen by Paula Tognarelli, Executive Director and Curator of the Griffin Museum of Photography. The exhibit features works in both black and white and color.
